By thought, the thing you want is brought to you; by action you receive it.
–James Allen
We are offering Bob Proctors program, The 11 Forgotten laws on the website and Ive gotten several questions about whether to purchase it or not. Here is my advice based on the law of attraction.
The law of attraction says we attract the thing we focus on. So if you have concerns over spending the money – dont, move on. You don’t want those thoughts hanging out there and the concern over money. So if there is any concern over spending or not spending the money put it completely aside. This is not for you right now.
Never let anyone work thoughts into your head that you need this thing or that thing to survive the recession. The fact is you have all you need. There is a great poem by Edgar Guest called Equipment on the site – it starts like this:
Figure it out for yourself, my lad,
You’ve all that the greatest of men have had,
Two arms, two hands, two legs, two eyes,
And a brain to use if you would be wise.
With this equipment they all began,
So start for the top and say “I can.”
The profound secret in this verse is the intention of going to the top and starting out — taking action. Then you say to yourself I can. This is the law of attraction and the big secret about it is that it is hanging out everywhere and is so simple and basic that you may not see it. The other thing – when you hit a rough place in the road you have to keep believing it.
I am not a coach I offer the 11 Forgotten Laws program because I enjoy Bob Proctor’s presentations and materials. I have been using the program for about a month now — what it does is change your mind set to get you to take action in the areas of your life. It provides reasons and empowerment, it clarifies processes. Other than that it is not really magic except in the sense that there really is a law of attraction that comes to play in events when you become serious about them and the law of attraction brings the things you need to you. You have to be ready to take action on them.
Instead of buying the 11 Forgotten Laws Program right now do this, there is a lot of free material of the same nature on my website. I have two podcasts covering chapter 2 of James Allen’s book “As A Man Thinketh” that is an excellent introduction to information about the Law of Attraction. Some of the ideas that Allen expresses are common to the Bob Proctor program:
effect-of-thought-on-circumstances
effect-of-thought-on-circumstances-part-2
The complete audio book is in this post:
As A Man Thinketh is a great book and centers in on the law of attraction even though it doesn’t call it that. But it is about transforming yourself beginning with your thoughts. As A Man Thinketh is a great free resource and my recommendation is to start here.
You will become as great
as your dominant aspiration….
If you cherish a vision, a lofty ideal in your heart,
you will realize it.
- James Allen, From As A Man Thinketh
As you go through these books – write down those thoughts that speak directly to you. Write them down an put them up where you will see them over and over. Let them work into your very core so when you act you will act out of the strength and power of these great thoughts. And if something sets off a note of fear within you use these thoughts to respond.
I don’t want to get religious with you, not everyone is Christian and this thought transcends religion. Here it is from the life of Jesus – whenever the devil set a temptation before Him, Jesus would reply – it is written…, then he would say the scripture to counter the devil’s temptation. And so it should be with you, when the world or from whatever source offers fear up inside of you come back with an “it is written” and follow it by these great thoughts that have spoken to you. There is power in words, power to shape your thoughts, which shape your actions, which activates the law of attraction and which will bring forth great things in your life and in the world. I tell you it is profound.
If you are a person of faith, you should write down some of the empowering verses of your faith. Verses like: “With God, All Things Are Possible.”
Whatever it is from a faith book or elsewhere find something that speaks to you then live with it make it part of you and great things will begin to happen in your thinking.
The main site also has an audio book and discussions of The Science of Getting Rich. Also about the law of attraction and another place to find some great thoughts. Just type Science of Getting Rich into the search box and you will pull up all the posts about it.
This one is excellent too: dr-wayne-dyer-the-power-of-intention This is a program that Dr. Dyer did about his book and which is available on YouTube and I have watched it over and over. I’ve gotten letters from people who have been greatly encouraged by the message.
So try on these free resources and start changing your mindset to know that your goals are possible. That your thoughts are things and they are powerful – that you just need to focus them on the thing you want to accomplish. This is done by visualization and by techniques discussed in the above free resources.
You have the power, believe it, and if it looks like that might not be true keep believing it anyway because the truth that is within you is more real than the things that are outside. Just believe and keep acting on the beliefs.
I’ll leave you with this, again from James Allen in As A Man Thinketh:
Mind is the master power that molds and makes,
and we are mind, and evermore we take
the tool of thought, and shaping what we will,
bring forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills.
We think in secret, and it comes to pass -
Our world is but our looking glass.
