Currently this podcast contains Think and Grow Rich, Chapter 3: Faith – presented in three parts as it is a long chapter. A few posts back I had written about it and chapter 4 (I’ll post chapter 4 soon) as they related to The Science of Getting Rich.

The podcast is not intended just to be book readings although it will contain some but it will be an aural presentation of the post – though sometimes it might be different.

This post contains the final part of the audio for chapter 3 of Think and Grow Rich. Hill offers the formation of U.S. Steel as an example of how wealth is formed from thought.

U.S. Steel was birthed in the mind of Charles Schwab who created and executed a plan and brought the company into existence. This is in line with the ideas put forth in The Science of Getting Rich. In it Wallace Wattles tells us that your riches will be brought to you by existing systems setup in the world to do such things. Both men agree:

See it, create a white hot desire, and go for it – take action. Then the magic happens as the universe conspires to help make it happen for you.

Imagination, faith, planning, action, persistence, and decision activated by a burning desire. This is the path to wealth and the steps to activate the law of attraction.

“Anything the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve.” See it in you mind, nurture the vision and after a gestation time your idea will be birthed into the world.

Part one of this post, that is, part one of the reading of chapter 3 of Think and Grow Rich left off as Napoleon Hill was about to present his formula for faith. A formula that encapsulates a persons “definite chief aim” in life. The formula wraps attainment of goals with faith. I’ll embed part 2 of chapter 3 here:

Hill in Think and Grow Rich and Wattles in The Science of Getting Rich each deal with the law of attraction by bringing the mind to believe and form the image of the thing to be obtained. Both follow up with continuous and consistent action.

If you want to be wealthy, list a list of your dreams and write them as you would if you already had them. Try it now, list your top ten list of things you want as if it is a year from now and you already have them — this will activate the law of attraction.

For example, I enjoy exploring America with man or woman of my dreams. It feels great having streams of income from my enterprises and $100,000 in my pocket or maybe its $200,000 – its your dream.

Whatever your goals are write them down. Come up with ten objectives that turn you on. Got the ten items? Now lock onto one that would make you happy. You will reach all of your objectives but this one is your definite major purpose in life. Writing your dreams in this way, as if you had already reached them engages the law of attraction. Your dreams will start moving toward you as you move toward them.

To turbocharge the law of attraction process, review and visualize your list daily; linger on your definite major purpose – this super goal will help activate all of the others. It helps the visualization process to put photos on a vision board that help you picture the goals now. It is a good thing to do but don’t get hung up on it – the most important thing is to begin and begin now.

Examine your list and envision yourself in the future experiencing the joy that you would experience and the thankfulness that you would feel. Think of it as a little time-travel experiment. your vision will improve as you move forward. Visualize and review your dreams at least once a day. In consistency lies the power!

If you want to attain riches then finish this exercise and you are in the top 3 percent of achievers. The top 3 percent get things done and write their dreams and therefore energize the law of attraction. The top 3 percent are the happiest and most successful in life – welcome to the club.
