What do you want to be like, who do you want to be, what do you want to do when you grow up?

Make A Vision

If you are 55 or 10 or any age you should answer the question, why?  The answer can be your vision that you flesh out to use the law of attraction.  It can be the vision you use to lead you to success.

Are there qualities of a particular person you’d like to incorporate?  Read about that person and see yourself doing those kinds of things, responding successfully as that person might.

See And Feel The Vision And Take Action!

Play this vision and add words to it to form a plan.  Napoleon Hill gives a formula in Think and Grow Rich.  These words you should go over in the morning and before bed to burn them into your mind.

Then – begin to act – ideas will be coming to you about the actions to take and you need to take action.

The whole idea of a vision is to create a burning desire which will sharpen your observation and create the desire to spur you to action.  Another part of your job is when dis empowering things come along that you manage them.  Do whatever it is so you will act and keep acting.

Act NOW – Waiting Solves Nothing: Success And The Law Of Attraction

Remember, things won’t be perfect when you start and don’t think of waiting even an hour for things to be a little better.  The great Zig Ziglar asks, “do you wait for all the traffic lights to turn green before you leave home for the store?”  Of course you don’t – you’d never get there.  It is the same with your dreams and goals.

Run the movie in your mind, replay and enhance the vision – ideas will come and when you see the ideas you will act on them.  This is success and the law of attraction in action – make no mistake the law of attraction needs action to work.

So why grow up?   Just keep asking yourself what you want, what and who you want to be when you do grow up.  Asking those questions keeps your mind open to possibility.

Never Give Up

Did you know that Colonel Sanders was 65 and trying to figure out how to make it on Social Security when he started Kentucky Fried Chicken?  He lived on for many years and saw it become a huge success and saw it make him a great deal of money before he died.  KFC started on his idea that the fried chicken recipe he had developed in his roadside restaurant in Corbin Kentucky was worth something.  Colonel Sanders created his own future with principals of success and the law of attraction.

A thousand people told him no as he traveled town-to-town, often sleeping in his car, trying to find someone to buy a franchise.  A thousand said no before he got his first yes.

And so the vision – the idea – the action must be bolstered by cultivating your thoughts so that you too can take some rejection, some knocks, and discomfort as you work toward your success.

Napoleon Hill said it best – that everything you want to accomplish in life has it’s beginnings in an idea.   It’s up to you to keep the idea alive and take action on it.

Growing up means figuring out what it is you want to be and do and it is a realization that it’s more than wishing, you have to do something.  But the magic combination of these things will get you anything you want and that is how The Law of Attraction Works.

The law of attraction is working are you using it on purpose or is it working randomly in your life?

Rhonda Byrne has said that “The Secret” was inspired by “The Science of Getting Rich.”  That is a great book, and I love it – but the opeing scenes of the movie tells a different story and I wonder why.

The book that Byrne pulls out of the trunk in The Secret begins like this…

The World’s Greatest Discovery

A chapter title that is not from The Science of Getting Rich and a quote from Edgar Guest, that great poet.

This is not how The Science of Getting Rich begins but rather how Robert Collier’s The Secret of The Ages begins.

The scene goes by quickly but if you advance your DVD playback slowly, you can see it as in the screen capture above and in the Rhonda Byrne video clip at the end of this article.

Both of these books are great books and both have a similar message.  We have audio of chapter 11 (The Law of Attraction) of Collier’s book on this site.

Interesting is that Collier is listed in the part of of The Secret’s website called “Behind The Secret” but Wattles is not.  However you can get an ebook of “The Science of Getting Rich” but not of “The Secret of The Ages” on The Secret website.  In Byrne’s Recommended Reading List we find The Science of Getting Rich (and many other success classics) but not The Secret of The Ages.

This is only an observation, not any great controversy.  The messages of both books are congruent and both carry the same great message of the law of attraction.

The Science of Getting Rich is all about the law of attraction, but never calls it that, Collier’s book, The Secret of The Ages is likewise about the LOA and it even has a chapter by that name.

So I invite you to choose your success, watch The Secret and read The Science of Getting Rich or The Secret of The Ages…  Perhaps you’ll even double down and take both of these classics to heart.

My grandfather, Robert Collier, died in 1950, two years before I was born. He was a tremendous businessman, a pioneer in the mail order sales business, and wrote “The Robert Collier Letter Book” on business correspondence.Robert Collier also had a strong spiritual side and in the late 1920s wrote some of the first self-help books, including one called “Secret of the Ages.”

The Secret Law Of Attraction And The Science Of Getting Rich

The Science of Getting Rich preceded other financial success works such as Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Rhonda Byrne described the The Science of Getting Rich as the basis for her movie, The Secret, as well as the book by the same name.

We hear it so often: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”  That quote from Charles Dickens is almost cliche, but what a great observation.  It’s an observation that is always true.  The thing is you can flick the switch on which it is, best or worst,  just by your focus.

In a magic show the illusionist keeps your focus on one hand while he is making something else seem to disappear with the other.  In life if you are so focused on the sadness then your happiness will seem to disappear.  Is there a magician that you are allowing to control your focus?  Who or what would you give such power to?

A lot of people are getting rich, a lot of people are happy, a lot of people are making plans, a lot are moving their lives forward.  It doesn’t matter what the times are, just look to the things you want to do and start moving, start taking action.  Get your focus off whats wrong and on to what you are going to do next.  See it’s good outcome.

Don’t let the magician keep you focused on something else while he hides your happiness.  Keep your eyes on your happiness…  Can you see it?
