In the preface Wattles advises the reader to take the book on faith, get rich and then try to analyse it (if he wants). He also introduces the monastic theory of the universe where everything is of one substance which manifests itself as seeming many different elements. The theory’s were also written about by Hegel and Emerson.

Chapter 1, The Right To Be Rich: money is nessecary for a person to fully express himself in life. Getting rich is a nobel goal so a person can fully develop and render to God and humanity the greatest service by fully developing himself.

Next time, chapter 2 “There Is A Science Of Getting Rich” where Wattles demonstrates that getting Rich is a science of mind and will follow thinking and doing things in a “Certain Way.”
